Kubota's rugged construction, combined with the proven Kawasaki FX600V engine, makes this a dependable machine ready to go to work.
Power comes from a 19 HP Kawasaki FX600V commercial V-Twin gasoline engine paired with dual Hydro-Gear ZT-3100 hydrostatic transmissions, providing smooth, responsive steering and ground speeds up to 9 MPH. The electric PTO engages the deck with the flip of a switch, while the heavy-duty hydrostatic drive delivers excellent traction and productivity throughout the mowing season.
The mower is equipped with a 36-inch fabricated floating steel mower deck constructed from heavy-duty 7-gauge steel. The floating deck follows ground contours for a superior quality of cut while reducing scalping on uneven terrain. A 2-blade cutting system, adjustable cutting height from 1.5 to 4.5 inches, and side-discharge design provide clean, professional results in a wide variety of mowing conditions.
Operator comfort was a priority in the design of the SZ Series. The cushioned stand-on platform features suspension dampers to reduce fatigue during long workdays and conveniently folds up for walk-behind operation when needed. Ergonomic twin steering levers, an adjustable reference bar, electric PTO engagement, cup holder, and easy-to-read hour meter make operation comfortable and efficient throughout the day.
Routine maintenance is simple thanks to easy-access service points, maintenance-free spindle bearings, heavy-duty commercial components, and Kubota's reputation for reliability. The compact footprint also allows more equipment to fit on a trailer while remaining easy to transport between job sites.
