    The Ford 8N tractor was manufactured from 1947 to 1952, and while it looks very similar to the 9N (see other lot also up for auction) and shares the same basic engine family, it is not the same tractor. The 8N was a major redesign introduced after World War II when Henry Ford parted ways with Harry Ferguson. Ford upgraded several mechanical and ergonomic shortcomings of the older 9N and 2N models; 4-speed manual forward, brake pedals: Split (clutch & left brake on left, right brake on right) - both on the right side (clutch on left). Hydraulics: Draft control only (hitch is all up or all down). Added Position control (can hold implement at any height, Paint Scheme: All medium gray red body / gray hood ("red belly"). No keys included/Buyer responsibility. Great mechanic's special or amazing lawn art! Located in Cameron, AZ. Buyer responsible for loading. Winning bidders must bring their own labor and machinery to dismantle, load, and/or transport their items.
